If you’re part of a Zoom meeting, you know that being able to see the screen of your colleagues’ devices can be helpful. But if everyone in the meeting uses a different device, it’s not easy to share the screen. That’s where Zoom’s new Zoom Meeting Extensions come in!
These extensions let you share the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or Android device in a zoom meeting without having to use AirDrop or email the link to everyone. Click the extension on your device, and select the colleague you want to share the screen with. They’ll get a notification and can click on the extension to join the meeting.
What is Zoom?
Zoom is a videoconferencing company that allows users to easily share their iPhone, iPad, and Android device screen in a Zoom meeting.
This helps display images or videos too large to be displayed on a monitor in the meeting. Zoom also allows users to share audio and video chat sessions.
How Zoom Works
Zoom is an app that can be used to easily share your iPhone, iPad, and Android device screen in a zoom meeting. Once you have Zoom installed on your device, all you need to do is open the app and select the meeting type for which you want to use it.
Once the meeting has started, all you need to do is zoom in on the screen of your phone or tablet, and everyone in the meeting will be able to see it. Zoom also allows you to move around the screen so everyone can see what you are doing.
Zoom is perfect for when you want to show someone a specific part of the screen or if you want to show a video. It is also great for when you want to show participants a graph or table.
Setting up Zoom for your Meeting
Here are some tips to get started:
1. Sign in to Zoom.com and create an account. You’ll need to create an invitation for everyone in the meeting to join.
2. Click on the “Meeting Tools” tab and select “Zoom Meeting.”
3. Click the “Screen Sharing” button and choose your device from the list. You’ll need to enter the special code for your device if it’s not already logged into Zoom.
4. Click the “Start Screen Sharing” button and wait for everyone in the meeting to join. The screen mirroring will begin automatically once everyone is connected.
5. Once everyone is connected, you can start sharing your screen by clicking on any item on the screen and dragging it to another location. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts (control + arrow keys) or mouse pointer to select items and drag them around.
6. Click the “End Screen Sharing” button to end screen sharing.
